Management team
Rod Keech - Executive Chairman
Rod has many years of top level experience in international business development with Ford Motor Company and the Fiat Group. Before joining NexxtDrive Rod was Vice President & General Manager of Business Development for CNH global nv (NYSE: CNH), a $12 billion subsidiary of the Fiat Group. He managed eight companies or joint ventures worldwide, as well as business development and OEM sales activities.
Prior to that he managed other international activities for the group from the USA and Europe. He has an MA from Cambridge University and an MBA from INSEAD.
Frank Moeller - Chief Engineer and Director
Frank has worked for leading firms including Wankel, Daimler Benz, Ford, Deutz, Norton Motorcycles, JCB and Caterpillar. He is the holder of a number of patents and author of a number of papers in leading automotive journals.
Frank is a graduate of the Higher School of Mechanical Engineering, Kassel and is a British Chartered Engineer.
Derek Bernard - IP and Licensing Director
Derek is a Chartered Engineer and Invention Licensing & IP specialist. He trained as an engineer with De Havilland Aircraft Co. and was with Lotus Cars. Derek has been involved with innovation development, patenting and licensing, on a very wide range of projects, since 1970. He was a key part of the team that invented & licensed the "Workmate" to Black & Decker, and was instrumental in the extensive, and always successful, Workmate patent infringement litigation.
Don Forrest - Finance Director
Don is a Qualified Chartered Accountant, having trained with Arthur Andersen & Co. He has wide industrial and finance sector experience having worked for Ford Motor Company, Smiths Industries, British Technology Group and Cambridge Research Biochemicals, a successful VC investment ultimately sold to ICI.
Since 1990 Don has worked in venture capital and private equity with Trinity Capital Partners, Advent International and Nova Capital Management. Don has an MA in Politics and Economics from Glasgow University. |
